After parting her hand from the formal greeting. She fixed her bag on her shoulder and nodded slowly to the direction where Eric was going to move on. Her head turned and then they began to exit the building. Taiki looked around and did not expect this kind of environment she had expected. It was cooler than Dustbowl that's for sure.

Eric glanced back at the taller woman, now eyeing her a bit suspiciously. "So, Tai... Sniper, where are you from?" She didn't even bother trying to finish her name, she knew she would probably butcher it. Of course, it would have helped if she'd been paying more attention while Taiki was talking to begin with. Oh well.

Ian decided it was best to stay quiet while the two conversed -- interrupting the two of them would be rude, after all. As the three walked back outside, they were met once again by the chilly breeze of a fall afternoon. Ian shoved his hands into his pockets to keep them warm; one finding its way to the car keys to fumble with them. He stepped out to the side a bit to ensure he wasn't in the way of his teammates' discussion.

"If you mean by base then I was transferred here from Dustbowl. Hated working at that frying pan." She stood there with her hands in pockets waiting for the medic to get out his keys. "But if you mean by where I came from, I was raised in Sapporo. If you even wanted to know that." She huffed a bit and shivered. She was not used to this colder weather. Though at least it was not like the dessert that's for sure.

"Hm, cool." Eric had actually meant the ladder, but considering she had no clue where Sapporo was, she decided to just remain quiet. As soon as Ian unlocked the car she practically dived into the passenger seat, not wanting to give the new teammate even the slightest chance to steal her favorite seat in the car. "So," she called to Ian, "We need to stop anywhere else, or we headed straight back?"

Ian listened to the Sniper and Scout discuss the former's old whereabouts. He had no idea where a place called Sapporo would be, but -- judging by her appearance -- it was probably a ways from where they were now. He was about to pipe in to try and affirm his observations, but then Eric inquired where they were headed next. Oh well; it would be a good question for another time.
"That's... not up to me." He answered, feeling around the underside of the dashboard. "Do either of you need to go anywhere?" Ian himself didn't need anything from Rogue River today, but if one the women asked to go someplace else, he wouldn't object. He finally found the switch he was looking for and flipped it, popping the trunk of the car. "You can, uh... put your things in there, if you want." He directed his statement at Taiki as he hopped in the driver's seat and got things ready to go.

"No, I would very well like to head to the base immediately. " She watched them climb into the vehicle as she ambled over to the now open trunk, Tossing her sack into the trunk. She nodded her head as a gesture of thank you and shut the trunk. Then she headed to the left back seat car door and opened it to let her self in. It was a bit cramped but it was not too terrible.

"Well actually th-" She stopped as the sniper spoke. Eric couldn't help but scowl. All week she'd been waiting for someone to into town so she could stop by the comic shop, but this chick just threw all hopes of that out the window. At this rate she might give in and just drive herself into town later. "Lets get going, then." She muttered a bit reluctantly.

Ian stopped what he was doing to glance over to the person sitting next to him. His face tried to signal a mix of 'are you sure?' and 'thanks for understanding.' -- he wasn't really sure which one he meant. In the end, he didn't say anything; simply revving up the engine in the old car and starting the long drive back to their base.

Taiki gave an approving nod with a suspicious glare directed at Eric and looked out the window seeming to day dream. She kept mostly silent for most of the trip, not paying attention to really much anything due to thinking about settling in in a new location and having to be talking to a lot more team members unlike the last base.
