It was a cold, rainy day at Sawmill. In actuality, there was only a small drizzle but the remnants of the morning rain remained with the sticky mud on the ground and the slippery roofs and walkways around the base. Gordon sighed as he searched for a good place to stay and patrol the area. He wanted to watch for any BLU activity, making sure that no one would go for their intelligence. It was probably not a good idea for him to go for their intelligence anyway since a Scout or a Spy was better for that job. He pulled a stitched hood over his head to protect himself from the drizzle. If the rain would worsen then might as well put it on. He decided to put the veil on as well and keep warmer.
He positioned himself ready to snipe if necessary. While he sincerely hoped that he wouldn't have to resort to fierce battle, he wanted to keep a watch. In case anyone would attack, he would have to notify them accordingly of it. Gordon readied himself. His rifle was ready just in case.

The rain was creating moisture and condensation on the out post window. It was shoved open with two gloved hands. Taiki pushed them up so she should settle her rifle on to the window on the bottom frame. She settled her self and Placed the butt of the stock on her sniper rifle and firmly snuggled the gun in her shoulder. She was scoping the place out. Waiting for any RED team member to try to grab the Intel and also keeping her attention around her as well for any surprises. Soon her scope spotted the other team's sniper. Sitting there. Taiki thought that she could not take any chances and prepared her finger on the trigger.

Calming his nerves and taking deep breaths to decrease shaking in his fingers, he raised his rifle and hid behind a small crate. His rifle was above the box, and he knelt on the ground while ignoring the muddy feeling of the ground. By hiding behind the crate, there was a fair amount of protection and a place to hide to escape immediate detection. He scanned the area and watched for any enemies through his scope, the laser sight offering enhanced accuracy but at the same time, it gave his position and presence away. Bothersome, but helpful at the same time.
He put his rifle down for a moment to notice that there was a blue dot of light on his hand that was slowly traveling up to his head..... It seemed as if BLU's Sniper was out as well. Gordon quickly ducked behind the crate while clutching his rifle close. Having never encountered the enemy Sniper prior to this meeting, he had no idea what to expect tactics-wise. He breathed again and kept his mind clear. Observation and patience would help him immensely. He did not know where the sniper was but he needed to find out and take her out, hopefully.

She was about to pull the trigger but the other sniper scrambled behind a crate before she could get the shot at him. Taiki could shoot though the crate but he could easily escape while she had to reload again. So with no other choices, the sniper waited for the other one to come out of hiding or make a move.
Either way she could get a target out of him.

It certainly wasn't the time to do anything without thinking and planning everything carefully, not with his life on the line. Not even with re-spawn would he be content. Gordon clicked his tongue as he positioned himself ready to leap up and shoot her quickly. However, he simply carefully looked from the side of the crate, making sure that the laser that was still darting about, searching for his skull to rest upon, would not aim for him. Gordon's breathing slowed down as he firmly grasped the gun. Peering from the edge of the box, he looked carefully for the location of the sniper. Was she at ground level? The height of the laser seemed to prove otherwise at times.
His sight then fixed on another sniper ready to fire, looking out from a window. He quickly ducked back behind the crate but now that he knew where she was, he could get a better idea of where to go from there. A single quick shot for now, taking her out with luck and skill. With the rifle ready and loaded, he aimed at her and the laser sight traveled to her head, his finger was then on the trigger. He pressed it ever so slightly, but he did not press it enough to fire.

Ha. She thought to herself. She away a small glimpse of brunette hair over the crate and then went back into hiding again. There was not enough time to shoot his head off but at least she knew he did not try sneaking off.
Then a few moments later he raised back up suddenly, armed and ready to fire. The red dot traveled to her neck and on impulse she shot at the man but missed by a few feet with an amateur like aim. Taiki gruntled and tried to reload fast as she could or at least duck.

Before he even had the chance to press the trigger, he heard a loud bullet to his side but did not bother to turn and look. This was his opportunity to fire at her, and with the laser shining on her forehead through the scope now, he squeezed the trigger but his knee he had placed on the ground began to slip and his posture was ruined, causing him to misfire and the bullet sped past her head a few inches away. She was more than likely taking cover by now as he hid behind the crate once again to reload a bullet. No more slipping on mud now. He decided to quickly change his position, promptly moving to a crate behind him and hid behind there. He hoped that he was spotted by her, but there was definitely a chance she did.
