((In an alternate universe far far away where something like this might actually happen...))
Fran's office sat unusually empty for this time of day. She had much bigger plans to attend to though. If one had tired to head upstairs for a comfortable nap, they would most likely be dismayed to find the blankets missing from their room. If they searched around they would see that in fact, every blanket in the base was not where it should have been. And if they were to venture into the common room they would find a remarkably well-crafted and painstakingly intricate blanket fort. Or shall we say a....Blanket Fortress.

Zach had just finished doing a good bit of cleaning in the file room, after seeing it in the state it was the man just couldn’t take leaving it like that anymore. Coat off and sleeves rolled up, he strolled into his room to get his cigarette case and enjoy a relaxing smoke break outside. But as he returned to his room, he found that something was missing. In fact several things. He stopped at first and stared at his bed, his cigarette case open in his hand and finger paused over it.
“What. Where…” He started off quietly, but then darted off down stairs. “Has any one seen my…”
He stopped at the sight, his eyebrow twitched a bit in annoyance.
"My sheets."

Through an amazing plot convenience, Eric had been on her way to the RED base. Arriving at the front door, she swung it open and began to call into the common room, "Heeeyyyy fuckasses look who-" She stopped. In front of her, spread across the not exactly vast common room, was, of all things, a blanket fort. A rather impressive one, at that. "...what."

Ruth was really confused. She went to sleep with blankets, and awoke with not even a sheet on her bed. She hobbled downstairs with her jacket tied around her waist to see what all this craziness was about. Leaning against the door frame to Fran's office, Ruth asked, "What's the big deal? Wakin' up cold is no way to wake up." Her helmet bobbed against the frame. Her eyes were frequently closed considering she only got about four hours of sleep last night.

The Sniper had come back from a bit of training at the shooting range. He held onto the Machina with his right hand as he walked back to the base. As soon as he entered and approached the common room, he was greeted by the site of an elaborate fortress made out of blankets. It seemed that it took quite a bit of time. In all honesty it was a bit impressive though odd..... "Interesting." He observed.

Fran, sensing movement and hearing voices outside, crawled over the the grand blanket entrance and poked her head out. "Isn't it wonderful? It took nearly three hours to put together. Quite frankly I'm surprised no one tired to stop me during all that time." It was clear by the dark circles under her eyes that she hasn't been sleeping as much as she ought to. She may also be/have been ever so slightly intoxicated. There really is no other way she'd get the idea to do something like this. "You may either marvel at my impressive craftsmanship, or you may join me inside." She said before simply ducking back into the fort.

Zacharie finally decided to go for that cigarette, standing on the stairs. Raising an eyebrow as he lit up, he wondered the state of Fran’s wellbeing. “Are you serious?” He looked onward, his sheets were not clearly visible, but he was sure they were in there somewhere.

"Dead serious. I don't joke about forts." Her muffled voice came form within her blanket kingdom.

Eric knelt down and peeked into the fort. Sure enough, it was one hell of a well crafted structure. Possibly the finest she'd ever seen, and she'd seen a lot of blanket forts in her short lifetime. "For some stuffy medic, you sure did a good job here." She commented, examining the clips used to keep blankets attached to chairs. Ducking her head slightly under the entrance she crawled into the fort, marveling at the amount of space inside.

Gordon set down his rifle in a safe place and approached the fortress. He could see his own sheets in there but didn't pay too much attention. He really was quite intrigued by it. It was quite nice to see Fran's enthusiasm..... But her current state was a bit worrisome. He didn't enter the fortress but merely observed different parts of it.

Nice to hear some people can appreciate art when they see it. "Stuffy?" She glared at the scout but allowed her in anyway. "That's what you think of me?" She scoffed. She wasn't really surprised though. The cranky little scout didn't seem to have a high opinion of anyone, why should she be the exception?
Shrugging, Fran led Eric deeper into...the inner sanctum. "Care for a refreshment?" The common room's coffee table was covered with an assortment of snacks. She made sure to lay the nicest sheets she could find around here for maximum comfort. And to catch all the crumbs. "We got pretzels, crackers, vodka..." She trailed off.

Figuring that standing there was going to accomplish nothing, he put out his barely smoked cigarette and tucked it back into its case. Ducking inside, looked around. “This is… hm. Impressive.” Zacharie sounded mildly impressed indeed, but he still couldn’t really get over the ordeal. He turned his attention to the coffee table.

She nodded and answered. "Yeah, pretty much." Eric followed the medic into the "inner sanctum", and gladly took a handful of pretzels when offered. Leaning back and munching on her snacks, she asked, "So this whole fort thing was kind of built around that vodka, wasn't it?"

Gordon decided to carefully enter the fortress as well and was slightly taken aback by how spacious it was on the inside. He walked carefully as to avoid knocking anything over..... That would be rather unfortunate for them. There was a coffee table with an assortment of snacks.

“That is not my vodka, is it?” He picked up a cup and poured it, taking a quick sip without hesitation. Might as well.
