"Mmm, food." She pulled away from the hole in the sheet to grab a handful of pretzels, sort of shifting to the edge of the fort after hearing the shouting. The internal debate of 'should I go see what's happening or sit here eating pretzels and burning holes in things I shouldn't burn holes in?' was in full effect.

He rubbed his temples a bit. “Just.” Zacharie sighed and moved closer to the two. “I have more.” He would say anything to stop her crying at this point. Though he did leave out the part where he wasn’t going to let her have more.

Gordon couldn't understand a word she was saying. He knew it was Swedish but it wasn't pleasant getting yelled at like this..... He loosened his grip on her wrist.

Still shaking, her tears finally subsided not because she'd calmed down but simply because she was out of energy. Fran kept her head down and said in a weak voice, "No...it's alright. What's past is past. It's gone now." Sighing deeply, she grabbed Gordon's hand to pull herself back to her feet. She was nearly there until all sense of balance left and she found herself stumbling to the floor again. She wanted to try again but she couldn't seem to figure out which way was up anymore. Must be best to stay here. "Zacharie...I want you to tell the others....tell them....he died honorably...."

Full of pretzels and lacking blankets in her own room, wow someone was going to pay for going into her room, Elissa pulled a loose end of blanket around herself and curled up, falling asleep inside the fort

She thought the… bottle was? It took him a moment to piece to together. He kneeled down next to her, taking her other hand. “I will.” He couldn’t believe he was doing this. “I’ll tell them he died noble and proud. But that can wait. How about we stand up and get some water first?” Zacharie leaned over a bit to look her in the eyes. He did appear a bit annoyed still, but he tried his hardest to act sympathetic. Frankly it was almost earnest.

Something occurred to Fran when she looked into Zacharie's eyes. He's probably going to kill me. No wait, he's absolutely going to kill me. If she had the strength, she might have bolted again but right now she was just completely spent. Better to go quietly. "Okay, okay." She said, her exhaustion clear in her voice. She accepted his hand and let him help her on her feet again.

Gordon looked away but turned back to face Fran. Her exhaustion was very evident..... "Yes, I agree with Zacharie here. I'll..... go get some water for you so take it easy." He stood up and hurried to the kitchen. As he poured some water into an empty glass, he sighed. He carefully brought the glass out.

She was probably right, his patience was pretty thin but any casualties would only add to the chaos. Zacharie helped her up and nodded to Gordon as thanks for bringing out some water. “I’ll, hm.” How could he put this? “I’ll take care of the body. Go and sit now.”

Fran let him carry her away. Oh, if her mother could see her now. The poor woman would have a heart attack. No wait, don't think about that now you'll start crying again. What a sight she must look right now with here eyes red, her nose running, and her hair a mess from rubbing against the blankets. It was a very good thing she was now too tired to worry about those things.
He led her to one of the only chairs in the common room that wasn't being used to support the tower of blankets and gently set her down. "Thanks I guess..." She mumbled, looking at the floor to avoid eye contact.

He felt slightly calmer now that he was able to get her to finally sit still. Zacharie handed her the glass of water, making sure to keep it steady so she could grab it easily. “You’re welcome.” He said, patting her shoulder a few times for comfort. He then rested his arm on the back of the chair and leaned on it a bit. His side was still pretty sore from his fall.

Now the the adrenaline from the chase had worn off, she was beginning to feel the aching pain in her shoulder from when she smacked into the wall. His comforting pats did not help. Fran took a shaky sip from the glass before sinking deeper into the chair. She couldn't think of anything to say. She couldn't think of anything really. Her head was sore and she still felt dizzy and she was ready for a good long nap before she faced the problems that would undoubtedly waiting for her when she awoke. Least of which being the embarrassment. That's a hurdle she'd jump when she got to it though.

After a moment of silence he steadied himself again and moved off to where the bottle had fell. What a mess. He thought to himself. Zach even remembered that he’d left a Pyro as well as an enemy Scout back in the fort. It wasn’t burned down yet, so he had some time to clean up. After relighting his cigarette, Zacharie quietly went about cleaning the place up a bit while Fran rested.
