The fact that the sky had darkened significantly while he made his slow, methodical way around the Sawmill compound didn't really bother Achille. He lived in constant darkness to begin with after all and, as much as he felt it to be a rather sad thing to say, he felt a bit of joy knowing that when night rolled around everyone was as blind as he was. But enough of that.
Achille had left the BLU base less than an hour before and had immediately set about mentally mapping the main features of the compound, working his way along the left side of the compound (in relation to the BLU base). He had heard the whirring of machinery at several points but had ignored it. Chances were that it was the saws he had been warned about before being transferred out there in the first place. Instead, Achille had followed a different sound, one of rushing water.
What he had eventually found was a waterfall of some sort tucked away behind one of the buildings. Achille made a mental note to make a beeline for it should he ever find himself wearing a napalm cloak. There also seemed to be no shortage of hard cover around and a number of corners and walls as well as a few narrow doorways . While he fully expected to exploit the corners and hard cover against the Sniper and any Sentries that might be set up, Achille realized that any doorway could be a doorway with a spy hiding just inside. A flamethrower wasn't exactly an easy object to spin around in a narrow space, unlike a knife.
The rain pounding on his hood reminded Achille to continue moving, lest he stay out for too long and lose his way. Grunting slightly, he lifted himself off the soggy log he had been sitting on for the past minute and a half and started to move to his right, walking himself along the length of the cylinder of wood and onto another before being met with a rather muddy incline and nothing to put his hand on.
"Well," He said, making a disapproving sound with his tongue as he moved to take his first, tentative step forward up the incline, "the Stooges are about to get something to laugh at I suppose."
Sure enough, after less than four steps forward, Achille found himself on his back, mud and rainwater pooling beneath him as his weight caused a depression in the ever softening ground. Were it not for his airtight suit, Achille would have been squelching and squishing every time he so much as moved. He was still covered in mud, wet sawdust and god knows what else though and that would make getting up the small elevation in height even more difficult.
Why Achille didn't just turn around and go back to the base is hard to explain. Possibly the best answer would be that he saw this as another challenge presented by his blindness for him to overcome, to prove to himself that he was still a fully functioning person, even without his sight. That or he was just really really stubborn. Your best bet would be on the latter to be honest.
And so, covered in mud, rain, and no doubt an ever growing stench brought about by both, Achille continued to try to climb the incline, determined to reach whatever was beyond it's muddy surface.

After being here for a couple weeks already, one would think Elissa would be sick of going off on her own. She pretty much knows the layout of the base well enough to walk the entire thing in her sleep. She spent her free time running off and doing things alone, she enjoyed the peace and quiet and today was no different from any other day, aside from the smudge of blue that stood out a few yards ahead of her.
She saw him sitting on a log, BLU, waterfall, oops she found herself in enemy territory. she decided to keep an eye on him, remaining hidden behind a fairly large tree. Maybe he wouldn't see her and insist on starting anything during ceasefire. She watched as he stood up, squishing around in the mud, then pretty much falling onto his ass. Elissa couldn't help but laugh, there really was nothing more funny than an enemy slipping and falling and getting covered in mud. She thought about joining him, but decided against it when she thought about how much shit she'd stir up walking back into the base as wet and muddy as she already was.
The RED Pyro leaned over a lower branch, watching her BLU counterpart slip and slide his way back up to the path.
