"Nice to meet you Ian" Claude replied, enveloping Ian's hand in his. He seemed nervous, so Claude smiled on and asked "I take it you're the teams medic? I'm sure we could be great friends. and you too Eric, though from past experiences, scouts and I..." he chuckled "Don't necessarily get along to well. They tend to say far to much to get a point across." Claude shifted on his feet. "Who is this though?" He replied as he noticed fully of the man he would soon know as Achillie. The look of the man worried him a little... could he be... the teams Pyro? Those fire wielding fiends always gave him the chills.

"I assume from the chatter over there that we've found our Spy?" Achille called from over by the truck, adjusting the leather jacket he had thrown on before they had driven out of the base. He didn't quite know the full layout of the town yet and there was too much noise at the train station for him to be able to follow a conversation from where the others stood without being distracted so he had opted to stay back with the truck instead. They were, luckily, close enough for him to still hear, though only roughly which is why he decided to wave them on over instead of continuing to yell to be heard.

"Uh, yeah... that's me. Thank you." He affirmed the Spy's assumptions with a small nod, easing up a bit thanks to his kindness. He gently took his hands back, and it wasn't long before they retreated into his coat -- preferring the warmth of his pockets over the chilly air any day. One set of digits wound up fidgeting with the car keys tucked inside. "Oh -- and you are...?" Unless he was mistaken, the man hadn't introduced himself yet.
"That's--" Ian started to identify the man Claude made an inquiry of, but was interrupted by that same man, still standing off by their vehicle. Looking back, the Medic hadn't realized the area was probably too crowded and unfamiliar for the Pyro to walk around freely. Way to go, genius.
"I think that... is our cue to get going. You can come meet him." He told the taller man with a nervous chuckle. Wanting to avoid feeling guilty about leaving his teammate behind, he briskly turned and began leading the three towards the car.

Eric looked back down at the birdcage and picked it up, saying quickly, "Here, I'll help you carry stuff." It was no secret that she just wanted to play with the raven more, but Eric figured she might as well do something useful while she was at it.
The scout fell into step with Claude, commenting as she walked, "Yeah, I gotta agree with you, scouts are usually annoying. A buncha loudmouth little shits. I get along with spies pretty well though, y'know? All the intelligent conversation 'n shit is real nice. If nothing else th' spies usually put up with me, even if I st- uh, borrow stuff sometimes," she paused for a moment, then added as if a thought had just occurred, "Hey, by the way, do you smoke?"

"Pardon my rudeness there, My name is Claude." he reassured. "Sorry I didn't say anything sooner I was a little out of my regular routine." Peering down at The medic. Striding back to the car he finally responded to the Eric's question. "Yes, quite a bit actually. Probably to much for my own good. Cigars, Cigarettes but usually from a pipe. More relaxing with less chemicals from what I've found." Claude's coat began to shift a little on his shoulder. He stopped setting his stuff down for a moment to readjust it. "Feel free to borrow what ever you please. Just give me a heads up whenever you can. I may actually begin to get you all things, Christmas is coming up" Claude smiled at the Idea.
Felix began to mew loudly, feeling left out of the whole conversation. His carrier swaying with the giants arms as he walked. Gripping the carrier and case tightly, he let out A tiny "Shush little one, were almost to our new home."

Ian couldn't help but fall into a grin as he overheard the exchange between the taller man and his cat -- he really was friendly with his pets, wasn't he? With the Spy around, that would bring the animal count in their base to 5: three birds, and two cats. And maybe more, for all he knew. Not that the Medic minded at all, as long as nothing bad came from it.
"Sorry we kept you waiting." He spoke to Achille with his usual politeness once they were close enough to the car. Then he stepped aside a bit to ensure he wasn't in anyone's way. "Claude, this is Achille. Achille... Claude." He gestured to the two as he introduced them to each other, even though there wasn't really much point in it.

Achille smiled as Ian introduced him, extending a hand to Claude. "Nice to meet you." He said, taking careful note of Claude's voice. He was several inches taller than Achille if the directionality of his voice was any indication, but that was nothing unusual. From the sound of it he was carrying some pets as well. Achille didn't mind pets so long as they weren't covered in scales or a member of the frog family. They helped to create a more relaxed environment inside bases he had found.
"I take it your train ride was enjoyable? I know how comfy those trains have gotten in the past few years."

Eric bypassed the pyro and moved toward the passenger seat of the car. Might as well let them get all chummy now, she thought as she opened the car door and preemptively put the birdcage on the seat, there'll be plenty of time to bother the guy on the trip back With the bird tucked safely in the car, the scout moved back to the group of BLUs and stopped next to Ian, commenting to him in a hushed tone so as not to interrupt Achille, "We should probably get going soon if we wanna get back before dark."

"Nice to meet you Achille" he replied, grabbing his hand. and shaking it. There was a vagueness in his in his eyes that Claude was having trouble understanding. He drew his hand away finally. "The train ride was rather spectacular. Food was great, which to say makes any event. So what role do you play on this spectacular team?"

Ian leaned closer to Eric so he could listen to what the Scout had to say, then nodded.
"Um... guys?" He tried to wait for a good time to interrupt the two men, speaking a bit softer now that he had their attention. "Do you mind if we continue this conversation on the ride home? It's getting late." If the young man had to drive his teammates back to Sawmill, he would prefer to do so before the sun completely set. Driving in the dark isn't much of a problem for Ian, no, but that doesn't mean he's completely comfortable with it. If he could get away without having to do it, he would.
But, until the pair standing between him and the driver's side of the car let him pass, he would have to wait.

"I have to agree with sir Ian here we need to get back soon. Along with the animals getting a tad restless. I suppose we could chat more in the truck." He finally said grinning at Achillez waiting for his response.
Claude put his belongings in the back of the truck and carried Felix into the truck to sit down. finally he let the little guy out, and he sat in his lap waiting for them to take off. With the little guy purring in his lap. He waited for the ride to the base to begin.

Seeing that he was given the affirmative to leave, Ian excused himself past the rest of his teammates and stepped into the driver's seat. It wasn't until he placed the keys in the ignition and brought the car to life that he remembered Eric had offered to drive home. Oh well; he was sure that if she really wanted to do it, she would say something.
The young man adjusted his seat forward a bit to give the much taller back passengers some leg room -- whether they needed it or not -- then fastened his seatbelt. After Eric and Achille got settled in, they'd be well on their way back to Sawmill.

Eric followed the lead of her teammates and climbed into the passenger seat of the car, remembering at that moment that she had offered to drive back. Well, Ian didn't seem to remember, or if he did, he didn't mind. As much as she would have loved to just pretend to forget and let him drive back, she felt guilty after the all the fuss made over it, so before buckling in she asked, "Hey, you sure you wanna drive? I mean, I said I would on the way back. If you wanna, like, I wont stop you. But, just sayin."

Crawling into the vehicle, Achille knocked his head on the car as usual, cursing softly under his breath as he tried to make himself comfortable. Rubbing the area of his head that would no doubt be bruised later, he shuffled about in an attempt to accommodate his new associate, though it was a rather fruitless effort given their combined size. When Eric brought up driving again with Ian, Achille coughed loudly in order to get their attention.
"My offer to drive still stands you know. Just saying."

"Nah, it's okay. I'll be--" He went to reply to Eric, but was interrupted by a loud cough and remark from the backseat. Ian turned so both the Scout and Pyro were in his view. "No, seriously -- I'm fine." He told them both, turning to face the front again with a light-hearted chuckle. "I'll let you know the next time I, uh... need a blind man to drive for me." He added with another small laugh as he pulled out of the train station's parking lot.
And with that, the BLUs would be back at base with their new recruit in about forty minutes' time. Maybe the ride wouldn't be as quiet the second time around.
