Ian was initially going to elaborate further but, seeing as Eric didn't seem bothered by it anymore, he decided to leave it alone. Good... that's one less thing to eat away at his guilt. His lips began to creep upwards as she rambled on; eventually reflecting the Scout's grin right back at her. "Alright, alright... whatever you say." The Medic replied in defeat -- his response was sing-songy and intertwined with a few chuckles. He slung his feet over the roof's edge and leaned back on his arms.

Eric, feeling an air of ease between the two of them now, flopped down on the roof, spreading her arms out above her head. "So," She said, watching the thick coating of clouds float above them, "I dunno about you, but I'm getting mighty bored on this roof. Wanna go do something? We could like, go into town, or drag some of the members out to play cards, or go snoop around the RED base."

"It's up to you." Ian responded instinctively, without even taking the time to process the rest of what the girl said. He was never one to enjoy making decisions for others, so he always chose to just follow along inste--
Snoop around the RED base.
He finally computed the list of options laid out for him, but it was too late -- he'd already given her permission to make the call. A knot twisting itself into the pit of his stomach, the Medic hoped Eric didn't decide she wanted to do anything too reckless.
...Like sneaking into RED's domain.

Eric hopped to her feat and clapped her hands together. "Fabulous! RED base snooping it is!" She couldn't have planned his response more perfectly. Grabbing his arm, she hefted him up, a mischievous grin spread wide across her face, "Well, don't just sit there, lets go! Oh man what should we do? Steal some intel to get back at the spy? Oh, oh man, maybe we could just go into his room, and tear a button off one of his suits. That'd be golden. Any other suggestions?" She glanced back at the medic she had already dragged half way across the roof, looking for an answer.

No. The last thing Ian wanted to do was look for trouble. But of course, Eric easily singled out the one option that would instigate that perfectly. The knot inside him swelled into a softball as she hoisted him up and pulled him along behind her.
The Medic tried to rationalize his actions internally -- finally coming to the decision of accompanying the Scout, but only to make sure she didn't get hurt. After all, that was his job, right? It definitely was his job. And he would be letting his team down if he didn't do his job.
"Let's just... make sure we get out in one piece." Ian advised. He tried his best to sound excited but, as a young man currently waging an internal panic war on himself, enthusiasm could only go so far. He freed himself from Eric's grip gently and trailed close behind her.

"One piece? Aw way to take all the fun out of it." She laughed at her own joke, letting go of Ian's arm as she spoke. She moved over to the spot on the roof just above a shorter building and carefully slid down. Without looking to see if Ian was following alright, she sprinted over to the plant connecting the short building to one of the RED teams sheds, ignoring the fact that the unsteady piece of wood nearly slid off the roof as she crossed.

Ian lagged a bit behind her, not being used to running around like this at all. The sliding part? No, that was easy. But this? After she darted across the makeshift plank bridge between the two buildings, it shifted to an unstable position.
Wonderful. The young man groaned as he knelt down in an attempt to make it a little less dangerous. He managed to fix it on his side, but the end that was atop the RED shed was a little too close to the edge for his comfort. ...Well, he was already propelled far enough out of his comfort zone as it is, so he decided a few more yards wouldn't matter. With a smaller stride and quick pace, Ian hastily shifted his way across the plank. Luckily he was just as much of a lightweight as Eric -- and much more cautious -- so the wood wasn't disturbed.

Eric finally came to a halt inside the REDs main building, just outside of their respawn room. She surveyed the area, ensuring that nobody was around, before turning to Ian. "So, where should we start? Personally I think just fucking around with Zacharies wardrobe would be pretty fun. Rip a couple buttons off shirts, take one shoe out of pairs- oh oh, what if we found a stapler, and stapled all of his ties to the ceiling of his room!" By the end she was practically bouncing up and and with excitement, not really looking to Ian for an answer but just for him to agree to her ideas.

But Ian didn't agree. With any of her ideas. Sure, the Spy had started trouble with them not too long ago, but it didn't justify them stooping to that level as well. He'd stated that earlier when he arrived on the roof, but apparently the advice went through one of Eric's ears and out the other.
The Medic sighed. "How about... we decide once we get there." He urged, looking around the room as a precaution. In truth, he just wanted to say something -- anything to get her to keep moving. The sooner they moved, the sooner they'd get to RED's housing, do whatever mischievous deed Eric decided on, and leave.
Either way, the 'leave' part would never come soon enough for poor Ian. "...Lead the way, please."

She nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah... yeah, that's good. Make more of a spur of the moment thing, I like it!" Ignoring Ian's obvious apprehension at going to the base, she spun on her heel and descended down the respawn buildings staircase. The Red commons weren't too far away, so being too stealthy wasn't a big priority. Then again, it rarely was a priority at all. As far as she was concerned, if she was caught, she could outrun them all. Of course, she didn't take into consideration for even a moment that Ian was with her now, and that just running might not be as simple of a plan anymore. Hopefully that wouldn't be a big problem, though.

After his training at the shooting range, and Zacharie leaving for town to mind whatever business he had to take care of, Gordon made his way back to the base with his rifle at his side. Would BLU really think of attacking them at this point? He had said that he would keep watch. He had nothing better to do at that moment really anyway. He walked at a brisk pace while heading near the RED commons.
He decided to perch from up high somewhere. He doubted that there would be any BLU's approaching but it was better to be safe than sorry. He found a decent area to sit and relax while keeping an eye out for anything out of the ordinary.

Paperwork on her desk stacked high as ever, Fran sighed as she mentally prepared herself for another afternoon of work.
Or.
She could always go for a quick walk about the base to see if anyone needed help. That was her job, it counted as working. Her excuse set, Fran hurried from her office before she had a chance to talk herself out of it.
Oh no no one's in the common room oh well better just take a seat and wait for someone to show up! Sinking into a chair near the unlit fireplace, she pulled out a book she grabbed from her shelf before she left. Ah yes, she'd been waiting all day for this. Now to find out if Cathrine picked Adam or Murphy...

It seemed as if the more he tried to rush Eric, the more excited she became -- it was exactly the opposite of what he intended. Giving up, Ian decided to stay quiet. He placed his hands in his pockets and slinked down the stairs behind the girl. They'd be reaching RED's common room shortly, and the best case scenario would be that none of them were presently there. Assuming there were nine people composing the team at the most, the odds of the base being uninhabited were... severely skewed against them. Upon realizing just how many ways this could go wrong, Ian's stomach tightened up once more.

Completely oblivious to the two RED members in their path, Eric continued her route to the commons building. She paused a few yards from the building, examining it cautiously. "Good chance there's somebody in the common room... perhaps we could go in the back?" She wasn't talking to Ian as much as she was just thinking aloud. Of course, even if they went through the back, they would have to pass by the common room to make it to the dorms, but at least they could see if anybody was in their path.

Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted some people dressed in BLU uniforms far off..... A Scout and a Medic.
"Eric's back and she brought a friend along it seems." Gordon murmured as he loaded a bullet into his rifle. He maneuvered closer but remained out of sight. He flipped open the scope and put his eye through it and aimed at the two of them. He hid the laser sight on a nearby wall but he kept a close eye on the two of them. They didn't seem to be armed nor did it seem that they were going to conduct an actual attack with how they were approaching their commons.
"A shot to scare them wouldn't hurt." Gordon said. "I'm still deciding on whether to kill you two or not."
He aimed off to the side, right next to the Medic and pressed the trigger, hoping that it would at least scare them off.
A loud shot rang out.
