Eyes locked on target, Fran made her way over, weaving around racks of clothes. Her single-minded focus was broken when she spotted a familiar face. "Ruth?" This was certainly one of the last places she ever expected to run into her. Well, she hardly ran into her at all really. It wasn't unwelcome though. Maybe after all these years she could finally have a proper shopping buddy. She'd have to play her cards right...
"So uh, how's it going?" She glanced down and was a bit dismayed to see the woman's arms full of men's clothes. It wasn't something too wildly unexpected; Ruth was a soldier after all. Still, years of being brought up to be nothing but 'proper' and 'ladylike' made a lasting impression and she couldn't help but disapprove ever so slightly. Also thanks to her upbringing, Fran was far too polite to say anything about it. She simply offered up an amiable smile instead.

"Oh hey," Ruth was kind of surprised. "I ran out of shirts. Gettin new ones." She never really had that problem back home but when you live away from your parents you don't really have a choice. Ruth hasn't known Fran all that long, so she didn't know what to say to her. What will offend her? What's her favorite food? Where's she from? Ruth didn't know, and wasn't sure what to say. "Uhh, so, you drive here?"

It didn’t take long for Zacharie to start browsing the different kinds of suits available at the store. Truthfully he’d seen better, nothing particularly interesting caught his eye either. But at the same time he wasn’t looking for anything in particular style wise, to be honest. The spy stopped at a rack of ties, looking at them with a scrutinizing look. “Gordon,” He said, looking to see if his comrade was still with him. “Do you own any suits by chance?”

Fran nodded. "Yeah, we drove one of the trucks from the base. Oh yeah, Gordon and Zacharie are here too." The two of them were probably knee-deep in suits and flannel shirts right about now. Now that she stopped to think about it, she was so preoccupied with reattaching Eric's arm the night Ruth arrived that she hardly had a chance to get to know her at all. She supposed there was no time like the present. "So...we haven't exactly gotten to talk too much yet. Where are you from?" Her eyes drifted longingly over to the women's department, still a good few aisles away. No, dresses later. Getting to know a new teammate was way more important.

Gordon looked through several shirts. He wasn't particularly impressed but he didn't really care about how they looked really. He looked up when he heard Zacharie address him. "Hm? Oh, not with me right now, no. Only some back where I used to live for formal occasions." Gordon replied quietly.

“That’s it?” He asked, looking a little surprised. “Gordon, every man needs at least one suit on hand at all times.” Zacharie picked up a silk tie, it was a particularly bright shade of red. “A well tailored suit makes the man, or... something.” He then picked up a tan coat from a near-by coat rack, comparing the two colors together sizing Gordon up as he did so. “You look like a medium, tall.”

"Hm. I suppose." Gordon replied as he stood still as he watched Zacharie pick up the red tie and a tan coat from a rack. He tilted his head slightly with a bit of a curious look. "About that." Gordon said. Whenever Edtarch Hayward would bring Gordon out to buy clothing, he would always make Gordon try on suits and they would always be uncomfortable and stuffy. But that was only because he wasn't used to it.....
"Papa, it's really uncomfortable and I feel tightness in a lot of places. I walk really funny too." The boy walked around rather oddly.
"Get used to it, Gordon. Every man ought to own a suit." The man sitting on the chair said.
"But, I'm not a man yet. So I shouldn't have to wear a suit yet, right?" The boy smiled rather sheepishly.
".....You're just not used to it." The man said with an unamused face. "Now, let me fix your tie."
"Okay....." The boy pouted.
Now, he was used to it but still rarely wore suits. Dress shirts, button-down shirts, sure. He took the coat and tie from him and looked at it. As he looked at it, he smiled. Why not try it on then.

Ruth wishes she had just waited for everyone else to ride in the truck, but no one got anywhere just waiting. "Uh, I'm from Wisconsin." She said arranging her packages of shirts. "Nowhere special. Where're you from? You sound... foreign." Ruth's wool cap was getting sweaty so she took it off to let her short, orange hair air out.

"I think warm colors suit you," Zacharie said with a confident nod. "maybe because I'm so used to seeing you in that red shirt and vest. Ha." The spy turned around to the rack again to find a decent shirt and matching pants. After a moment, he realized Gordon had spoken up.
"Oh, about what?" He said as he continued to look.

"Hm." Gordon said as he watched Zacharie search. "Oh, nothing. Just in response to what you had said." He turned to look around the store and if he could find Franciska anywhere..... However, it didn't look like he could find her. She was probably off somewhere else looking at dresses. He turned his attention back as he started looking as well.

"Oh, I'm from Sweden actually--" Fran couldn't help but stop and stare for a moment. She was always wearing a hat so she'd never seen Ruth's hair before. It was...interesting. Very...very...interesting...
She coughed to break the silence that had fallen over them before continuing. "Uh, yeah. Sweden." Darn it. She lost her train of thought.
"So, you been in many battles before?"

After a moment or two of guessing what the sniper's sizes might have been, he turned to him. “Here.” He handed Gordon a pair of matching pants as well as a crisp white shirt, grinning proudly. “Try this on, I guarantee you won’t regret it.”
Zacharie was indeed proud of his selection, but he was mostly attempting to bond a bit with the other man. There was an obvious distance there between them, likely due to Zacharie’s outburst at Eric from that one evening. Gordon had attempted to cool things down between them, but he only ignored and continued to lash out.
He felt bad about it. Maybe.

"Thanks." Gordon said as he held onto all of the articles of clothing. He found that the changing rooms weren't too far away and entered one of them. Everything fit particularly well and Gordon was impressed that Zacharie managed to size him up well. Well, considering other factors it really wasn't all that impressive in all actuality. Nevertheless. He adjusted the coat and the collar of his shirt while looking into the mirror. He was quiet and wore a rather nonchalant face. Nothing out of the ordinary really.
It was a while since Zacharie and Gordon had even actually talked. Gordon had been spending a lot of time alone at the shooting range since he felt out of practice. That encounter and conflict with Eric was rather awkward but Gordon wasn't one to hold grudges or anything against people. He just quietly let things go. He slipped his shoes back on and walked outside.
"I guess this looks fine?" Gordon said with a small smile.

Zacharie was already there by the dressing rooms. It seemed that in the time it took Gordon to change the spy already amassed a collection of various articles of clothing for himself, folded neatly somehow over his left arm.
He stepped forward and admired his handiwork. “Ah.” With his free hand he reached up and fixed Gordon’s collar a bit. “A dapper man if I ever saw one. Very nice.” He gave his comrade a nod of confidence and a wink. “We have to be careful though, ladies might start throwing themselves at your feet if you don't keep this handsome under control."

Gordon saw Zacharie come into the changing room as well. He couldn't help but chuckle slightly in disbelief. "Right. Sure." He said in a reply to his comments. "Go on then." He motioned for Zacharie to go try some on for himself. This suit looked quite nice. Maybe he would purchase it after all.
