Eric scowled at the spy. "What, surprised I'm not still at my own base trying to fucking get over your teams little stunt?" As she spoke she jabbed an accusing finger at the spy, "Because, by the way, that was REALLY uncalled for. I nearly murdered Fl-, a plant, trying to get you out."

As soon as Fran poked him, he let go of Ruth’s wrist, his hand up in the air to show that he was done apprehending their Soldier.
They hadn’t met, but he was familiar with her face. He recently did go back through the RED team personnel files, for reasons he would not disclose.
“I-Er…” He was interrupted before he could make his exit, it was too late. She is NOT doing this here, is she? Where does she think she is? “I don’t know what you are talking about. However, we are leaving this instant. Right, Fran?” Zacharie said with a quick nod and a nervous grin, ignoring Eric’s accusatory statements and pointing.

Fran paused, arms falling to her sides. "Your team"? "Stunt"? Confusing enough on it's own, but then Zach suddenly became very interested in leaving. And his face...anything bad enough to break his nonchalant mask was cause for considerable alarm. Fran spoke, her voice low and her expression, wary. "Zacharie. What is she talking about?"

Ruth was so ready to just be done with this situation. She made it worse than it needed to be. "Ehh, you?" She pointed at the Spy that saved her from making pizzas out of Eric's face. "I need a smoke. Meet me outside, please?" Ruth didn't smoke, she hated it. Tried it once, then quit, but she needed it so bad right now.
She wanted to just run out of the store but instead opted for walking as quickly as she could, dropping the packages of shirts back on the shelf and some landing on the floor. 'This will not happen again,' she told herself. Her rash decisions have been bad enough for her already.

“Let’s go.” He said to Ruth, looking a bit too relieved that someone provided a good excuse for him to get the hell out of there as well. Zacharie did not expect Fran to join the accusatory party so quickly.
He took a moment to shoot a glance at Gordon, as if to ask him to maybe help control the situation. The spy quickly turned tail and started moving very briskly towards the entrance. He was going to be asked questions at some point, it was inevitable now, but people were starting to stare at them. To be honest, he never liked having so many eyes on him at once, despite his show-offish nature.

Gordon had met with Zacharie's glance but looked away at the last second to face Franciska and Eric. The attention in the store was focused on them with even murmuring going about the store. Gordon hated to be the center of attention like this. He sighed and closed his eyes a little. Thinking of a way to try to control the situation, he began.
"Whatever happened, can we just leave it behind? We don't want to draw too much attention. Hell, we already have now haven't we." He asked with a stern voice.
Gordon thought back to the conversation. He had no idea what Eric was talking about either. He was just as confused as Fran.

With Zach all but sprinting towards the doors, Fran had little choice but to shuffle after him. She kept her head down, avoiding the dirty looks the lady at the register gave her as she shamefully scurried by. Well. That could have gone so much worse actually. She had to cover her eyes when she stepped out into the unusually brilliant sunlight. It was a fine day, but a day she no longer felt like she could enjoy.
Curiosity was already eating at her like termites on a plank of wood. He was, of course, hiding something. By very nature of his line of work you could very well assume that he would never tell you the whole truth. By far his most maddening trait. The fact that she couldn't even read beneath his cool demeanor or see through the lies he wove so masterfully bothered way more then she even liked to admit. Because if there was one thing you can be absolutely certain about Fran, it's that if there is something in this world that she doesn't understand, she won't rest until she's uncovered its secrets. Her usual tactics were just no good in this situation. She couldn't exactly cut him open to figure out how he works.
Or...
Fran shook her head. No no, that would never work.
Fran marched frustrated and new clothes-less along the sidewalk, trailing a few feet behind the spy.

Eric watched dumbfounded as both the spy and medic left. "So, let me get this straight," she said to the remaining sniper, "You guys knew, nothing, about your spy breaking into our base, wrecking our shit, nearly giving our medic a concussion, and stealing some file?"

Gordon didn't show his mild surprise at this. In all honesty he wasn't surprised that Zacharie would do this..... He groaned with annoyance and irritation. Gordon turned to the Scout. "No." He replied bluntly. "We didn't." It looks like there was quite a bit going on. Fran was already going to interrogate Zacharie..... He looked around to see that the customers had gone back to shopping but still had some glances at them every now and then. He sighed. He was probably going to ask Zacharie some questions as well.

Ruth was glad to be outside. She could kick some ass out there and not get in trouble but that wasn't going to happen considering the situation. She walked over to an empty section of the wall to the left of the entrance. Fresh air did wonders for Ruth and she was just happy to be out of the store, but that doesn't mean she was out of the woods just yet.
Ruth didn't care what the others were bickering about because she really had no idea what they were talking about. While everyone was exiting, Ruth tried to avoid eye contact with Fran especially.

Zacharie could feel that Fran was behind him, he just knew it. He could hear her little familiar footsteps keeping up with his pace, it was almost intimidating. He didn’t even check to see if Ruth had followed him as he reached the front sidewalk, but he did make it a few feet past the store near an allyway. As he walked he pulled out his case to replace the cigarette he’d thrown away before going into the changing rooms. Stopping half way down the street, he turned with his lighter in hand, but was met face-to-face with a very cross Medic.
“Yes?” The spy now wore his trademark poker face, which perfectly covered his unease as usual.

"Oh nothing really." Fran said in a deceptively casual tone. She was a bit out of breath, having had trouble keeping up with the spy's long-legged stride. "I was was just wondering what Eric was talking about." This was the tricky part: how to get him to admit to anything. She hadn't yet considered the idea that Eric was lying, no, she really had her heart set on Zacharie being up to no good.
"You know, if you were planning on sharing." The medic's posture, arms crossed and foot tapping impatiently, made the situation feel more like a mother accusing a child of stealing from the cookie jar. She was ready for a duel, all that remained was to wait for his next move.

“Oh that?” He said, lighting his cigarette casually as you please. Zacharie stood with tall and proper posture, not giving a single thing away, not even through body language. It was most important that he kept a cool head through all of it, don’t say anything unless asked. He didn’t want to give away any unnecessary information after all.
“I took some intelligence from BLU’s base, like I normally do. You know, my job?” He was trying his hardest not to grin a little at his good use of sarcasm, but he only raised an eyebrow instead.

"Yeah, well--" Darn it, she didn't think this far ahead. Maybe instead of stomping after him in a huff she should have done something sensible and stayed behind to interrogate Eric instead. Maybe it was time to switch tactics. Dropping her accusatory posture, she sighed heavily and leaned against the side of the building. "Sorry. I'm just...more than a little stressed. Sometimes I feel like I've always got to be the team babysitter or something." Eric wasn't even on their team and Fran always ended up pulling her out of some kind of scuffle. It had been wearing on her patience for a while, but only now was she beginning to let it show.

“No one guaranteed that joining a team of mercenaries would entail that they were all mentally functioning adults.” Zacharie almost sympathized, taking a drag from his cigarette and blowing the smoke to the side. “I don’t even think BLU is half as lucky however, they don’t seem to have anyone keeping them from being complete idiots.” He looked off to the side and thought about how easy it was for him to just sneak in and take those files. He did get discovered, yes, but at this point he’d be doing nothing but damage control.
“You do try though, it’s what counts.” It’s the best he could offer as far as comfort went; he was still trying to be on the defective side.
